Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, leading to the one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
As a side note, Black Friday is called so due to an incident in 1950’s Philadelphia where consumers stormed the city during an annual Navy vs. Army game.
That information is according to some articles I read online, so we can take that with a grain of salt.
Regardless, this is a chance for businesses to boom and for dollars to fly.
The object for businesses is to get the customers to spend as much money as possible.
But, as consumers, our goal is to spend less.
One way to spend less is to set a budget.
Be careful of your shopping, not all deals are worth it.
Set a shopping/spending limit and stick to it.
